Patrick has over 20 years’ experience in Construction and over 5 years of that as a director. Patrick started on site as an apprentice carpenter while at school part time and continued while turning his attention to studying civil engineering at Wollongong University. After completing his degree, he worked in the civil construction industry as an engineer while still studying and completing his carpentry apprenticeship and builder’s license
Patrick is one of two partners of the organization, & is Managing Director at Perspective Pty Ltd. He has achieved large growth in the business over the last 5 years doubling the revenue each year and is the driving force behind the business processes, growth, client relationships & culture of the business.
Multiple Residential and Commercial Projects
Patrick’s role as Managing Director has been to provide oversight and direct project management to all of Perspective Projects. While generally overseeing the management of the company, Patrick is responsible for developing and implementing processes for project managers to follow, including meeting agendas, procurement guidelines, project quality, health and safety plans, project financial structure, staffing, and scheduling. HMAS Albatross MH60-R Development – Department of Defence (Via Lend Lease)
Patrick’s role as Senior Project Engineer was to facilitate the civil scope of works to complete the ground and structural foundation works. In addition to this, Patrick coordinated the remaining civil works, including stormwater, roadways, concrete landing pads for helicopters, and main road upgrades. Included in the works was the procurement and scheduling of both direct employed staff and subcontracted staff, coordinating materials deliveries and stockpiling materials, working to the schedule, notifying the client of RFI’s and dealing with contractual items such as EOT’s and progress claims. Scope of work Value - $22M
Majura Parkway – ACT Government (via Fulton Hogan)
Patrick’s role as project engineer was primarily to coordinate the stormwater and structural components of the Majura Parkway project in Canberra. As part of this role, Patrick was responsible for the weekly scheduling management of all aspects of his scope, budgeting and forecasting revenue and expenses, as well as coordinating materials and labour to work within the government quality, safety and environmental guidelines.Scope of works Value - $25M
